Visual art direction
The principal imagery is bespoke editorial illustration created for Cres.travel, inspired by the landscapes, settlements and natural character of the island.
The illustrations are intentionally atmospheric rather than documentary. They establish a premium visual direction for the platform; the platform can progressively combine this art direction with verified, licensed location photography.
Destination facts remain sourced independently from the visual storytelling. No illustration should be used as evidence for a geographic, architectural or wildlife claim.
Additional bespoke editorial illustrations in this version include an olive landscape study and a Cres food-table still life created for the website art direction.
Daylight coastal cove, documentary-style griffon vulture, and intimate village-lane illustrations were additionally created to improve tonal variety and destination texture.
